Assistant Teacher:
(a) Two years or more of college that includes at least fifteen (15) college semester hours, of child development and/or early childhood education courses.
OR
(a) Highschool diploma and certificate in child development from an accredited high school and two (2) years of in-service training in a preschool or child care center.
Professional Development:
All teachers will participate in professional development training throughout the year. Trainings will consist of:
1. Agriculture in the classroom
2. Imagination Playground
3. Early Childhood Education
4. Innovative and hands-on lesson building.
Qualifications of Teachers
Lead Teacher:
(a) Bachelor's degree in child development or early education.
(b) Experience teaching STEM and/or past enrollment in STEM methodology classes.
OR
(a) Two years or more of college that includes at least fifteen (15) college semester hours, of child development and/or early childhood education courses.
